Kirsty runs Pet Matters with Chrissy Beckhurst DipCABT and Rachael Forrest VN DipCABT. Kirsty is a Companion Animal Behaviour Practitioner, one of the first to achieve this. She is a COAPE Tutor and currently is Chairperson of CAPBT Pet behaviour problems are seen with veterinary referral only. Kirsty, Chrissy and Rachael work with a large number of veterinary practices in the area and have built up an excellent relationship with them over the years. We also offer pet dog training. Kirsty and Chrissy are members of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers. They offer the KCGDCS Scheme from Puppy Foundation to Gold level. Complimentary puppy classes are run for several veterinary practices in the are Classes start from puppy (8 to 20 weeks) to advanced. I am a Companion Animal Behaviour Practitioner and I specialise in cat behaviour, from pets to show cats and breeding queens and studs.
I also undertake behaviour work and training with dogs, and occasionally other pets.
Behaviour consultations are via veterinary referral, and are usually carried out by a home visit.

Jacqui runs Alpha Dog Training & Behavioural Consultancy and has done for 18 years. Behavioural consultations for cats or dogs available through veterinary referral. Behaviour cases are worked up with the knowledge and help of the owners vet. Growl rehabilitation groups desensitise dogs with aggression and teach new behaviours. Nic holds a Diploma in Companion Anmial Behaviour and is a member of the A.P.D.T Association of Pet Dog Trainers. Nic and his partner Sandra a Canine Nutritional Advisor, have built up one of the most successful training schools in the area. Pippins Puppy School offers training at all levels for all ages. Starting from 10 weeks onwards. Using the Kennel Club Good Citizens Dog Scheme we deliver quality training for limited numbers of dogs per session that ensures maximum results. From refferral only, Nic works closely with local Veterinary practises when behaviour problems arise. Following a detailed report and diagnosis, Nic is able offer a one to one clinic specialising in addressing specific behavioural problems. The Pippins Puppy School ethos is to offer positive reward clicker training. Only kind training methods are used. Any form of check/choke chains, harsh verbal commands or punitive handling is not allowed. Nic and Sandra welcome families and encourage children to take an active part in training their pet. I have had over 10 years experience working with animals, working as a veterinary nurse for 7 years, and gained my diploma in Companion Animal Behaviour and Training in 2007. Pet Matters is a well established behaviour practice founded by practitioner Kirsty Peake and is run together with Chrissy Beckhurst DipCABT.
